I could guess the entire storyline but my goodness, I still think this is hilarious. (Courtesy Chris Young at C7 Design in New Plymouth.)
I was always taught the rhyme as ‘one world cup and two world wars’ but I think either variant is acceptable. ;-)
Pretty sure I have heard that as well and it sounds more natural.
