I haven’t blogged for a month for a variety of reasons, which I may write about when I get some time, but the passing today of former president
Gerald Ford is enough to break my silence. The stories of President Ford bringing Secret Service guards cups of coffee always had a impact on me. I had always understood that to run an
organization well, you need this two-way appreciation. Interestingly, today, Alexander Haig said this was one of the things that stuck out with Gerald Ford when thinking back on the seven presidents he had served. My thoughts go out to Mrs Betty Ford and the family of the 38th president.
